The Blues According to Lightning Hopkins, Directed by Les Blank
-fantastic short(30 min) verite doc on Lightning Hopkins - l love the way Blank was really able to capture such a specific time and place. Great verite camerawork, nothing too fancy, but just really nice attention to details, faces, composition. Also one of my favorite credit sequences in any doc.
That Lightning didn’t mess around.
